Your opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Australia, you will be responsible for marketing collateral and content production, as well as driving digital marketing strategy and execution for the business. In this role, you will:
Manage the digital marketing strategy and digital delivery pipeline for Australia, across all channels (including institutional, intermediary and retail) and platforms (web, social, HTML email, video etc).
Develop, maintain and implement an effective content plan to promote Janus Henderson’s investment capabilities for Australian-based investment desks, including management of third-party content vendor relationship and liaison with global content colleagues to ensure alignment with, and leverage of, global content.
Deliver an ongoing program of marketing collateral, content and investment insights, comprising written form, podcast and video format, including the production of all materials and deployment to web. As part of this you will monitor and report results to gauge effectiveness, and regularly review ways to increase success.
Support the intermediary, institutional and direct sales efforts through the ongoing delivery of HTML email communications framework.
Provide product marketing support to the Australian-based investment desks, including message refinement, new marketing collateral development and manage recurring collateral updates.
Drive social media for the APAC region, in conjunction with marketing colleagues in North and South-East Asia, including development of organic and paid social media content and posts (including imagery) and act as key liaison point with global social media team.
Drive adoption of the Salesforce platform in Australia (including Pardot and associated platforms), through the development of client segmentation and tiering, client journey mapping and personalisation.
Safeguard the strong risk culture of the team by ensuring all marketing materials adhere to global brand guidelines and standards and are approved through agreed compliance processes.
Build strong working relationships with Marketing and Distribution colleagues globally to leverage best practices and continue to improve outcomes from activity, and
Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Must have skills
Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
4+ years’ marketing experience, with prior financial services marketing a must-have
Previous experience working in multiple digital platforms including web, HTML email and/or social
Strong copywriting skills
High attention to detail and strong levels of numeracy
Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of the Australian financial services marketplace and its component parts, including most major asset classes.
Nice to have skills
Prior financial services marketing experience within asset management / investment management marketing (or a supporting agency) preferred
Consistent track record in working with colleagues across different geographic regions and time zones.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight timelines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and
Consistent record to think and act proactively, to work independently and a desire to work as part of a small team towards common organisational goals, and
Ability to act as the voice of client within the organization and a demonstrated focus on client needs.
