Overview of the Role
The role is a senior Reporting role in support of Janus Henderson Luxembourg and Irish fund ranges. It also ensures that the Luxembourg office is effectively connected to the rest of the Janus Henderson organization through driving relationships with internal functions (HR, Finance, IT and Facilities) and key service providers.
This role is located permanently in our Luxembourg office, and will form a core part of the local team which includes a number of product, distribution, operations, risk and compliance professionals. The role will have a matrix reporting line to the Head of Corporate Entity Management in London.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Conducting Officers in Luxembourg, ensuring the relevant Management Information is made available to them in a timely manner (in order for them to discharge their responsibilities)
Ensure those identified as Designated Persons (under CP86) have the relevant Management Information made available to them in relation to the Irish Fund Range
Run the monthly meetings to review management information which provides effective oversight in relation to the Luxembourg and Irish fund ranges (Monthly Conducting Officer meetings, Monthly Designated Person meetings)
Identify, address and resolve data quality issues
Lead a strategic project to improve technological facilitation of data gathering for oversight of the Luxembourg and Irish fund ranges. Work with stakeholders on user requirements and sponsor the programme of work to deliver change. Identify synergies in data collection and processing
Support the development and delivery of operational reporting to the Management Company Board
Provide local support and reporting in relation to the fund providers including the Auditors, Depository and Fund Accounting
Keep abreast of any new industry developments/trends and communicate these to the wider teams
Coordinate functional support for the Luxembourg office in relation to HR, Finance, IT and Facilities – ensuring the office feels connected to and supported by the Global teams
Work with London and Denver teams on global initiatives (including projects) as required (e.g. GDPR)
Matrix manage a team of Corporate Secretariat (the team report to the fund boards so this is a reporting, support role)
Coordinate oversight of the branches of our Luxembourg entity that form the European distribution network (functional oversight will be provided by functional teams in Luxembourg)
Participate in any operational due diligence meetings as required

Technical Skills and Qualifications
Good working knowledge of investment funds and products and their distribution
Good knowledge of Luxembourg and Irish Regulatory Framework, including oversight requirements relevant to the role specification
Good knowledge of applicable UCITS and AIFM regulation
Experience in reporting and development of Management Information
Good general IT skills including PowerPoint, Excel and database used for analysis and reporting purposes
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to liaise with senior management, peers and other team members
Good relationship building skills and strong management of stakeholders and their issues including timely escalation
