Your opportunity
As an Associate Research Analyst in the Multi Asset team you will work closely alongside the Research Analysts and Portfolio Managers to directly support the investment research process and portfolio management activities
You will contribute to the team’s investment process, portfolio monitoring and client reporting responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: macroeconomic and asset class research, preparation for and participation in asset allocation meetings, portfolio monitoring, client communications delivery and general team meetings
There will be a significant focus on the quantitative research of asset allocation frameworks, such as sentiment and positioning indicators, and the construction of portfolio management tools using Python

Must have skills
Educated to degree level, preferably with a focus towards Data Science/Finance or a quantitative field
Advanced working knowledge of Excel, including the use of macros and VBA
Prior experience working with Python and object-oriented programming, ideally in relation to time series analysis, using quantitative libraries such as Numpy and Pandas
Interest in broad financial markets / macroeconomics and a keen desire to learn about multi-asset investing, as opposed to individual company research
Studying for or a desire to study towards the IMC and/or CFA qualifications
An analytical mindset and high attention to detail
A team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build relationships internally and externally
Ability to prioritise and cope well with changing priorities and tasks
Curious and willing to ask questions
Nice to have skills
Working knowledge of Bloomberg and/or LSEG Workspace
Advanced PowerPoint skills
Investment areas
