The department

Janus Henderson offers expertise across all major asset classes, with investment teams situated around the world. These dynamic teams are structured and operate in ways that are best suited to their asset classes and manage products designed to meet a range of investor needs globally. We do not impose top-down house views; instead we allow an appropriate level of flexibility within a controlled environment and encourage the sharing and debate of investment ideas. Our Investment teams are grouped under: Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Assets and Alternatives.

Overview of the role

As a PA/EA you will provide all-encompassing administrative and secretarial support to your manager and some wider teams. The role will involve dealing with senior executives globally and requires an organised, efficient PA who has prior experience working at a senior level, preferably in financial services.

Duties and responsibilities

You will:

  • Be responsible for extensive diary management, including arranging internal and external meetings, calls and video conferences across multiple time zones.

  • Monitor and manage inboxes, including printing of papers for meetings and responding or sending emails where necessary

  • Ensure your manager is prepared for meetings by putting together relevant documents and organising prep sessions as required

  • Ensure your manager completes tasks and actions on time

  • Help to collate management information for Board papers

  • Liaise with Corporate Secretariat regarding Board meetings and papers

  • Arrange international travel

  • Prepare expense claims

  • Manage internal systems and databases within the team

  • Provide general secretarial and administrative support to the wider team

  • Provide cover for other administrative roles in the team

  • Carry out additional duties as assigned

Supervisory responsibilities

  • No

Technical skills and qualifications

  • Previous PA or administrative experience working at a senior level

  • Intermediate to Advanced computer skills including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Experience of using applications such as Condeco, ONEaccess or similar systems an advantage

  • Knowledge of Bloomberg or other market data platforms also useful

  • Financial services experience preferred but not essential
