The EMEA & LatAm marketing team is responsible for building Janus Henderson brand, building product awareness and helping to drive sales in tandem with the firm’s sales operation. The team is tasked with using all aspects of the marketing mix and is liable for marketing primarily to intermediated and wholesale segments across the UK, continental Europe and Latin America.
Overview of the role
You will drive and execute the marketing strategy for the UK and PIMSA (Poland, Israel, Malta and South Africa) in alignment with the business objectives, working closely with the EMEA and LatAm channel marketing team, as well as the wider marketing and the sales teams.
Duties and responsibilities
Build a strong understanding of product and strategic priorities for the business
Initiate and contribute to and lead complex marketing campaigns and projects, based on appropriate client segmentation
Create effective marketing content, including emails, videos and advertisements
Work with the Head of Wholesale Marketing and the Finance team to set and manage the annual marketing budget for the UK and PIMSA markets
Partner with content, product and digital marketing teams to deliver integrated campaigns
Manage external suppliers, agencies and clients as required
Work closely with the broader marketing and sales teams to develop and execute innovative marketing approaches
Define appropriate KPI and produce campaigns reports and analytics
Develop relationships with stakeholders in other teams to share feedback and work effectively
Managing and executing data analysis and marketing content via digital platforms such as Pardot, Salesforce, Global Meet and google analytics
Work with compliance to ensure all marketing materials and collaterals comply with all relevant regulatory requirements
Ensure familiarity with Janus Henderson’s financial promotions/literature principles and processes, as well as guidance from compliance. Ensure appropriate checks and sign off procedures are always adhered to
Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Technical skills and qualifications
Degree in Marketing or related topic
Excellent writing/editing and communication skills
Able to adapt content to relevant media and audience
Solid knowledge of the asset management business in the UK
Understanding of risk and compliance factors
Able to work independently and on complex and important projects
