The Department

The EMEA and Latin America marketing team is responsible for building the Janus Henderson brand, building product awareness and helping to drive sales in tandem with the firm’s sales operation. The team is tasked with using all aspects of the marketing mix and is responsible for marketing to intermediated, wholesale and institutional segments across the UK, continental Europe and Latin America.

Overview of the Role

Responsible for Janus Henderson’s wholesale marketing operations to fund selector, advisory and GFI audiences across the DACH region. Working closely with Head of Wholesale marketing, regional sales heads, product, PR and wider marketing team to generate product awareness and help drive sales and retain assets in line with strategy for the underlying markets.

Duties and Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Campaign management

  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns to build brand, drive interest in our products and support sales and retention activity across the region, including budget management, resource allocation and measurement.

Collateral

  • Planning and production of marketing collateral to support channel marketing activity.

  • Project management of online and offline marketing requirements/activity.

  • Ensure familiarity with Janus Henderson’s financial promotions/literature principles and processes, as well as guidance from compliance. Ensure appropriate checks and sign off procedures are adhered to at all times.

Digital

  • Work with digital marketing team to ensure digital dissemination channels are used effectively as part of the marketing mix.

  • Ensure regional websites are up to date and content is displayed efficiently.

  • Use analytics on marketing automation and website engagement to further refine strategy.

Events

  • Work with events team to ensure local events are planned and delivered in line with events schedule, budget and brand guidelines, providing additional support as needed

Technical Skills and Qualifications

  • Native German speaker

  • Proven experience of and ability to demonstrate strategic as well as practical marketing skills, preferably within a financial services environment and at a similar level.

  • Good knowledge of investment products and markets, and the competitive environment would be beneficial.

  • Knowledge of German, Swiss and Austrian markets beneficial.

  • CIM Professional Diploma, marketing degree or equivalent preferred.

  • IMC beneficial.
