EMEA & LatAm Intermediary Distribution Team

The department

Distribution is responsible for the marketing, promotion and ongoing development of our product offering, for both institutional and intermediary channels globally. Distribution is a trusted partner to our clients, and we enable investment solutions through active management.Areas within Distribution consist of Sales, Global Marketing, Global Product and Investment Trusts.

Overview of the role

The purpose of the EMEA & LatAm Intermediary Business Manager is to worm closely with the Regional leads to ensure Projects are rolled out with minimal disruption, represent the intermediary business needs and client needs.

Duties and responsibilities

You will:

  • Attend project meetings, working groups and Steering Committees where required

  • Carry out additional duties assigned by the Head of EMEA & LatAm Sales Support and Client Service Manager.

  • Ensure to keep a regular dialogue with the Head of EMEA Intermediary & LatAm and the European Country Heads

  • Provide regular updates on project progress and purpose.

  • Represent the Intermediary team in all internal meetings.

  • Assist and Coordinate new ventures when onboarding clients.

  • Be expected to help and be involved in coordinating specialized client onboarding projects.

  • Continue to seek process and procedural efficiencies within Distribution and other cross-departmental touchpoints.

  • Provide a central co-ordination point for Salesforce & Marketing Automation, including training, report development, DQM, Salesforce and escalation.

Technical skills and qualifications

  • Ideally some experience working in a Business Management or Strategic role.

  • Salesforce activity/opportunity monitoring relevant to the EMEA, LatAm and US Offshore regions.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or holding the IMC

  • Previous experience in working in a Client Director or Senior Project Manager role within the Asset Management industry

  • Ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently

  • Expert working knowledge of Word, Excel, CRM systems

  • Experience in working for an Asset Manager

Ongoing competence in the role to be assessed, in line with applicable regulatory requirements, by:

  • Annual performance appraisal

  • Completion of all assigned compliance training


At a minimum the role will require you to:

  • You are ultimately accountable for your actions and responsible for seeking further information on any or all of the above as necessary.

For those in scope of Knowledge & Competence (MiFID II)

  • Knowledge of financial markets, financial markets function and the impact of economic figures and national/regional/global events on markets

  • Understanding of issues relating to market abuse and anti-money laundering

  • Annual attestation
