Your opportunity
Develop profitable client relationships
Responsible for raising third party assets
Be compliant and work within UK regulatory framework
Understand the requirements of the UK regulatory environment and apply them diligently in the course of day to day interactions with clients via all communication mediums
Work within the internal risk structure of JHI, maintain accurate records and stay abreast of both Company and industry developments
Assist in the development and execution of a UK retail marketing plan
Understand the needs of clients and translate these requirements into an effective marketing plan with the support of the Marketing team
Deliver presentations and workshops to professional investors
Support all Company-wide marketing initiatives
Work in close collaboration with the investment teams
Maintain accurate records of all interactions and market intelligence
Use the professional CRM system to maintain accurate records and demonstrate effective practice management
Carry out additional duties as assigned

Must have skills
Relevant experience of developing relationships in UK wholesale market including Global Financial Institutions
Extensive knowledge of the UK wholesale market, as well as the needs and required solutions of relevant UK wholesale investors, both current and future
Wide investment knowledge with excellent understanding of Mutual Funds and Investment strategies
Focuses on understanding execution in the interests of customers and colleagues
Good level of regulatory and technical knowledge to be able to most effectively interact with prospective clients
Excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills
Strong team player and have the ability to use own initiative and to influence and persuade at a high level both internally and externally
Have a service orientated mindset with enthusiasm, drive and ability to develop significant sales success across a growing range of products
Strong network and contacts amongst key investors
Ability to work autonomously but within a tight regulatory framework
