Your opportunity

  • Work with Business Stakeholders, Product Owners / Scrum Masters, Data Analysts/ Architects and Developers to define solutions and implement change

  • Take ownership for changes assigned to you, including facilitating the required meetings, acquiring sign-off of acceptance criteria and managing to implementation

  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and solution design

  • Conduct data sourcing from JHI’s data platform to support detailed analysis

  • Liaise with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues

  • Produce quality test plans and lead all aspects of system and user testing

  • Oversee risks and issues effectively with timely escalation to the Product Owner

  • Good knowledge of Scrum, experience of using JIRA and working in an Agile environment

  • Carry out other duties as assigned

    Must have skills

  • You will have detailed knowledge of performance measurement, performance attribution, risk statistics and related IT systems

  • Solid grasp of fixed income, equity attribution and related methodologies

  • You will show a good background in the financial industry, coupled with experience of the technologies used to support this function

  • You have experience of owning the analysis process: from requirement gathering, writing test cases, implementation, sign offs and presenting demos to business

  • You have demonstrable experience with the data technologies required to support the business

  • You practice a delivery focused approach and strength in managing and leading change

  • You have a strong, analytical mind and are comfortable working on complex problems both on strategic and tactical level

  • Experience of typical infrastructure components and data architectures that support counterparty and derivative systems

  • Understanding of Project Management methodologies is highly favorable specifically Agile

    Nice to have skills

  • Previous experience of working with Bloomberg (specifically PORT+), B1, Atlas, Eagle, CRD and/or MSCI is desirable

    Compensation information

    The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$130,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

    Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
