Your opportunity

  • Act as the Product Owner on the SDLC Agile Delivery team, defining standards and practices for Agile Development teams across the globe

  • Collaborate with stakeholders (SMEs, delivery teams and IT departments) to ensure goals are clear and aligned to business objectives

  • Plan, prioritize, and maintain a healthy product backlog that delivers maximum value for the business while adhering to company strategy

  • Translate business and technical needs into clear themes, epics, and user stories for agile teams to implement

  • Facilitate backlog refinement and sprint planning

  • Communicate with stakeholders so they understand when key features will be available

  • Communicate product features and functionality with clarity

  • Participate in the scrum ceremonies, evaluate project/product progress, and communicate status & risks appropriately

  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement training and communications that allow stakeholders to better understand the products and associated changes

  • Carry out other duties as assigned

    Must have skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required

  • Ability to act as a power user within Atlassian and build and maintain integrations with other applications

  • Deeply understand and champion Agile and Janus Henderson defined SDLC, and act as change agent in driving standard methodologies and accurate tool usage across all technology delivery teams

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures, and principles of test management

  • Architect solutions which support a unified process and tooling configuration that is simple, limits customizations, and is flexible yet sustainable

  • Ability to prioritize requests from all teams while preserving Agile and SDLC processes

  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Embraces change, open-minded, positive attitude and technically curious

    Nice to have skills

  • Atlassian Cloud Administration Certification

  • CSPO/CSP-PO and previous Product Owner experience

  • Understanding of product management methodologies, principles, and processes

  • Proven problem-solving and analytic skills

  • Outstanding communication, presentation, leadership, and relationship building skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse internal and external stakeholders, with emphasis on empathy, professionalism, and diplomacy

  • Proven ability to lead through change in achieving tactical and strategic objectives

  • Ability to balance a forward-thinking mindset (strategic/forward thinking) with performance (results-driven, goal-oriented)

  • Experience testing asset management solutions and/or corporate services technology is a plus

    Compensation information

    The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$130,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

    Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
