Overview of the role

Responsible for managing global digital delivery team, which is responsible for updating and maintaining all of Janus Henderson’s public-facing websites and continues to evolve capabilities that assure JHI is state-of-the-art in its digital marketing. Ensures that digital delivery team maintains websites across countries and languages where content is compliant with local regulations, relevant, recent, and published accurately in a timely manner.

Duties and responsibilities

You will:

• Establish and manage a content management strategy for all websites – includes comprehensive intake, review, and approval workflow process

• Work with IT teams to request and prioritize enhancements to Content Management System, and will also be responsible for managing acceptance testing of those enhancements

• Document website system architecture, inter-dependencies between systems, and develop consistent change management procedures for website updates.

• Develop and communicate user training guides for end users to support a distributed content publishing model

• Manage relationships with various stakeholders across the company, including Marketing, Compliance, and IT

• Prioritize and coordinate activities related to the gathering, posting, and testing of content

• Manage external vendors to ensure timely development of website releases relating to the content management function

• Stay current with contemporary techniques in digital marketing and help ensure that JHI evolves its capabilities to remain highly competitive

• Establish and maintain digital delivery project roadmap for site updates and maintenance coordinating with global marketing teams and IT

• Manage and develop a team of digital content experts

• Carry out additional duties as assigned

Supervisory responsibilities

• This is a global team with 4 individuals in the London office and 3 individuals in the Denver office

Technical skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with academic credentials relevant to digital marketing preferred; 10+ years working with Digital content

• Two years of experience in mutual fund/financial services industry

• Experience working in a global organization is preferred

• Experience organizing and posting web content via a Content Management System (CMS); experience with WordPress preferred

• Knowledge of search engine optimization and web usability best practices, working knowledge of CSS and HTML

• At least two years of management experience

Ongoing competence in the role to be assessed, in line with applicable regulatory requirements, by:

Compliance requirements
