Overview of the role

You are passionate about data-driven email marketing and its impact on the customer experience. You understand the sales process to ensure email programs are aligned to drive client engagement and accelerate the client journey. You are a Pardot and Salesforce.com power user and have created custom reports to track activities through the full sales funnel. You also have a passion for establishing scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management.

Duties and responsibilities

You will:

  • Be responsible for the operational performance and improvement of the end-to-end lead flow, including creation, scoring, routing, and nurturing.

  • Understand specific data management requirements globally (ex. GDPR, CAN-SPAN, CCPA) and ensure marketing automation standard operating procedures comply and are enforced.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand companywide marketing and sales objectives and support the appropriate systems, processes, and tools.

  • Have day-to-day management of Pardot including: multi-touch trigger campaigns, creating and designing email templates, reporting and inbound/outbound notifications for sales and marketing

  • Execute email marketing campaigns, analytics/performance tracking, A/B testing, list segmentation and management

  • Create and run segmented lists based on client personas, digital behavior and demographic data. Utilize information to construct informed email marketing campaigns.

  • Manage the North America Intermediary Pardot Preference Center and overall subscription strategy

  • Build Pardot and Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide visibility into marketing campaign results, measure effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement

  • Partner with the Marketing Technology Team to evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve the productivity of, and deliver value to, the broader marketing team in a scalable fashion

  • Perform ongoing best practice and industry research to identify new alternatives or solutions to existing processes. Proactively develop, document, and optimize business processes, and automate where appropriate.

  • Document and communicate/distribute across the organization best practices for marketing automation

  • Identify issues before others; collaborate to fix issues when they arrive; recommend new ways to optimize and improve the process; and document, measure, and train others on new processes as they arise.

  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory responsibilities

  • You will be managing a team of 2 individuals.

Technical skills and qualifications

  • Pardot Consultant Certification required

  • 3+ years admin experience with Pardot required

  • 3+ years’ experience with Salesforce required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Email copywriting and design skills

  • Authority in creating multi-channel campaigns

  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously, perform in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of detail and accuracy

  • Knowledge of Dreamweaver and Atom, preferred

  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign, preferred

Ongoing competence in the role to be assessed, in line with applicable regulatory requirements, by:

  • Annual performance appraisal

  • Completion of all assigned compliance training
