Overview of the Role
This position works under general direction to initiate and/or lead marketing programs, initiatives, promotions and to coordinate the distribution and utilization of marketing communication materials and programs/campaigns among client facing staff to support the company’s North America distribution marketing efforts. This position primarily works with the Advisor Solutions Group on marketing project initiatives. The Advisor Solutions Group, consisting of 100 individuals, focuses on consulting directly with financial professionals on all Janus Henderson-related products and services. This position works to promote products and programs to advisors including offshore and Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs.) This position also works cross functionally with other channels and groups including product, compliance and production teams. Assists manager with special projects, and supports sales team in a proactive, professional manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary responsibility is working directly with ASG and acting as their single point of contact for all marketing requests
Prepares marketing materials and leads projects in support of ASG including but not limited to email communications, printed collateral and direct mail efforts
Works with various internal groups to run projects from inception through completion, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timeliness
Facilitates project management through use of corporate workflow (CCAT) and repository (Microsoft SharePoint) programs
Captures and measures results of marketing tactics and works to create effective marketing campaigns and materials
Interacts effectively with all internal business partners, including but not limited to Product, Product Marketing, Design, Sales, Compliance, Content, etc.
Works in partnership with Channel Marketing, Intermediary Sales and Product Management team to ensure content and best practices are used for marketing efforts
Assists with overall email marketing efforts including internal email newsletters and some external email communications as needed
Proactively enhances own knowledge of investment industry and asset management business, intermediary business and sales processes as well as products offered
Assumes additional duties as assigned

Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong problem solving skills
Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
Experience with SharePoint, Salesforce.com, Pardot and web conferencing a plus
Experience in the mutual fund/financial services industry preferred
Bachelor’s degree required
Ongoing competence in the role to be assessed by:

Overtime may be required on short notice and may include weekend, evening and holiday hours
